I have always loved listening to stories, and I feel so very grateful that it is my job is to listen to people tell THEIR story. My family and I live in Jacksonville, Florida, and we enjoy eating really good bar-b-q. I am Cuban-American, and having grown up in a cross-cultural home, I am drawn to people of all nationalities. I opened my private practice in 2012. I also have experience in community mental health agencies and school settings.
I believe deeply in the dignity of every human being. So often in life, however, that dignity is damaged by relationships, illness, loss, anxiety, depression, and the hurt we and others inflict upon ourselves. And yet I believe there is incredible hope that through telling one’s story to another human being, joy and health can be restored. My years of training and experience have led me to believe wholeheartedly in the power of a therapeutic relationship to bring peace and wholeness into a person’s life. Believe me when I say, I want to hear YOUR story.
